Lord Z, thanks for posting that reply. I just watched the last 15 minutes of Thursday’s episode and I was wondering who Bob Verne was. I love Grey’s Anatomy. It’s beautiful, touching, funny and moves me in so many ways.Just this week, I learned that my mom who is 73 has a tumor on her lung that is 95% probable to be cancerous so this episode brought tears to my eyes… Call your friends!
Abi’s right. But Krista Vernoff’s father was in a similar state. He had heart and liver problems, and begged the surgeons to remove the cancer regardless of how extensively it had spread. This, the urine obsession, and other things were very concerning.
Maybe he is George’s dad and the episode is based on a true story…
